Customers

1. Go to the tab >Customers
2. Click on the >three lines on the right upper corner of the list
3. Select >Download data as .csv file
4. The download will automatically start and save the file to your computer

 You can export up to 1000 entries without an impact on software performance. If you have more than 1000 entries, Zervant may become slow and unresponsive while exporting the data (although this also greatly depends on the speed of the computer that you're using).

With Zervant you can manage your customer list easily. You can create new customers, upload your existing customer list or export your customers. Please note that the amount of customers you can save in your Zervant account depends on the plan you are on. You can check the plans and what they include <a href="https://www.zervant.com/en/pricing/" target="_self">here</a>.

<h2 id="h_01GC8TG2JR9J694KWXDG3B6938">Create a new customer</h2>

The information you add in these fields will be automatically included on the invoice (except for the email address and phone numbers).
Please note:

The number of customers on our Free plan is limited to 5. To add more customers, you will need to subscribe to a Premium plan. <li>Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to add multiple contact information, a photo, or a different delivery address on one customer entry.</li>
<li>You can always edit your customers' information by clicking >Edit on the upper right side.</li>

<h2 id="h_01GC8TGT43TMJTKF92SC746H4B">Customer details</h2>
Select a customer from your customer list to view the customers' details on the right side of the screen.

Click >Invoices or >Estimates to view all created invoices/estimates for that customer. <h2 id="h_01GC8THF2XX1KQ0ECM4V1Z9J2F">Delete customer</h2>
Select the customer and click >Delete on the upper right hand from your customer list.

Please note: Customers who have linked invoices (opened or paid) cannot be deleted. This is to ensure that invoices and reports stay legally compliant. Only customers with unapproved invoices (i.e., drafts) can be deleted.

In Zervant you can easily manage your customer list. If you already have an existing customer database, you can import it to your Zervant customer list just with a couple of clicks.
 
<h2>Import multiple customers</h2>
1. Go to the tab >Customers
2. 3. In the new window, you have two options importing your customers
<ul>
<li>Cut and paste cells from your worksheet (e.g., Excel) into the grey text box showing on your screen</li>
<li>Click >Choose file to import your customer list from a .csv file</li>

4. Click the >Import data button. This will take you to a page that allows you to sort your data. You can choose the name of each of the columns based on your requirements. Options include company name, customer name, contact details, address, etc. You can also choose to exclude the first line of data by ticking the box in the top left-hand corner. This is handy if the first row is not actual data, but rather just the names of the columns.
5. Once you have sorted everything, confirm by clicking >Import data
 
<h2>Please note</h2>
<ul>
<li>Save your .csv file in a UTF-8 format before you import it by the "Choose file" option</li>
<li>The maximum support .csv file size is 5 MB. If your file is larger than 5 MB, you will have to split the data into several smaller files for the import to work</li>
