Sales for Non-VAT registered companies

It may be that you have chosen not to become VAT registered if, for example, your annual sales are below the £85,000 threshold. Remember that even if your company is not VAT registered, it doesn’t automatically mean that your sales are exempt from VAT.

This is why we highly recommend checking this with your accountant. You can also read more here.

If your company is not VAT registered, you can update your account settings to reflect this under My account - Company details, by ticking the box Not VAT-registered.

Once you have made this choice in the company details, your default invoice type will be "Not VAT-registered company".

There will be no VAT column or other mentions of VAT from your invoice, e.g. Net total, in the invoice that you create.
